Tomb Raider

Ever since I was a kid, I have always loved adventure films, my cousin and I literally grew up on them, as they always kept us inspired through most of the dark and colder months of the year. In the summertime, I would climb every tree, jump every fence, and swing from every rope I could, imagining I was those superhero’s and living out their exploits on my family farm. It’s probably no wonder that when I first saw climbing at an early age, I was immediately drawn to it, it basically encompasses everything I love about those films. Rock climbing takes us to the most amazing places around the world, it’s filled with consistent problem solving, the challenge of heights, traveling, and action-packed movement, which are all things that keep me energized each and every day. I’ve been climbing now for 23 years, and I never grow tired of it. So, when Warner Bros. invited me to work with them on the launch of the Tomb Raider Movie, I was stoked, and intrigued. I had a total blast on this project, drumming up this little climbing video and getting out on some of Skaha’s finest routes in the snow. I’m looking forward to kicking back and watching Lara Croft commit to her path of strength and independence. Here’s to the next adventure.

What a beautiful adventure! Congratulations! It reminds me of how much I like to climb and how this sport can give us extraordinary sensations! Climbing snow-covered walls is just as wonderful (even if Warner Bros did not contact me), it reminds me of my climb to Cotopaxi in Ecuador! The last step was magic! In this kind of situation the equipment is very important and must be adapted! I contacted an agency in Quito, Gulliver Expeditions ( and it provided me with excellent equipment! I recommend you!
What a beautiful adventure, and what a beautiful video! Congratulations again!
