SLIDESHOWS
Some people call them lectures, others call them conferences, I call them drunken debauchery. Also known as slide shows. Depending on what I’m doing and where I’m going, I offer up my time and energy for any group or function who’s interested in a night of stunning photographs, obnoxious video’s and climbing talks from recent travels.
Over the last 5 years or so, I have performed over 25 shows, all different and slightly unique, sometimes embarrassing, and other times demoralizing, but mostly entertaining and always for fun. The most recent event I did was for the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival, Jan 29th, 2010. But that’s now behind us and I’m looking forward to new challenges, and new adventures.
This March I’ll be going to El Gigante, Mexico with a WILD MAN named Timmy Emmett. Together we’ll be attempting to climb the 2800 foot face of Logical Progression 5.13a, onsight. Some french teams have gotten desperately close but nobody has made it successfully without falling at least once. Our plan is to bus into the mountain region to explore it’s potential for climbing, bouldering and base jumping. Upon returning home, I’ll be working hard to compile a multi media presentation designed to highlight this trip and the spectacle that is Basaseachi Falls. Upon completion, I’ll be touring to Columbus, Ohio for a talk with the University’s Outdoor Club, among other locations pending. If you’d like to be a part of this EASTERN tour in the US, please feel free to contact me immediately for I’ll be trying to organize my schedule as soon as possible. Thank you for your consideration, and enjoy the picture below….
