ha ha, you better quit Rich. Kids are already doing that. I have fat thighs, so you won't see me sport'n them, (even if I could) but Jeans have ALWAYS been in season. Btw, I had a small scare, but my sweet ass new/old van is running TIP TOP, hauled ass over the mountains to Manmore on Sunday, cost me $91.00 total. Apes, luv ya long time. Ben, that bolt you saw someone disappeared recently.

And what...are jeans the thing this season? If I start seeing dudes climbing in tight ass, half denim, half lycra jeans I'm going to quit climbing. Hahaha.

maybe someone wantend to make sure his dogs, kids and wife will not leave the place while the big dude dangles around on the wall? ;)

I can't really see the point in such bolts (as in the pic) being placed. But then again, I find the vaste amounts of chalk on many cliffs have an even stronger impact on the environment. I am currently in Bleau (thank god it's wonderful!) and I see so much over-chalking - and no brushing at all. I think I'll stick to using poff and a bit of chalking, but more important: BRUSHING (!!!).

stay clean...

I notices a random bolt coming off of the top of pixie corner the other day, I scratched my head a little bit, I really couldn't figure out what it was for, it wasn't even close to the edge of the cliff. a little strange if you ask me.

maybe that bolt is being use to tarp off a boulder problem ( that would suck) I have seen it before

I love climbing on bolts but it seem lately that bolting is getting out of hand, (in my area anyway) not sure if its because people want their name in a guide book or what. I know some guys that bolt way more then they climb. which is ending up with a bunch of route that are not worth climbing let alone bolting. But like you said it's Canada. but I am worried about the area getting a bad rap.
