Unless you couldn't find it when you got down and now you had to walk back in a sock and a shoe. Once I read that Steve House dropped the shell of a boot and had to duct tape a crampon to the liner. I really look forard to your posts. They're great inspiration. I'm glad to see that dropping stuff isn't only for hacks like me. Cheers. Don’t feel so bad about the shoe.
