How many other sports (pastimes/lifestyles blah blah)can the average Jo get to train with the best in the world? I mean can you imagine me being able to get David Beckham to teach me how to play football? Would not happen! Anyway think about how many of the world’s top climbers offer instruction, we are truly blessed in this respect... In the UK for instance I could for a modest fee get one to one instruction with Steve McClure, unbelievable. Anyway for my part I want to say a big thanks to all the big name climbers who take the time to give something back. Thanks PS Would this be the case if climbers were paid £100,000 a week?? I like to think so!! This is one of the things I love about rock climbing!
